Payoneer payment support (Credit/debit card payments)

User journey

Apart from Paypal, Stripe, Wise Payoneer would be a great addition for my current freelance biz I cannot use Paypal or Stripe as isnt supported in my country so can basically just use bank transfers via wise for now which isnt ideal. Payoneer has less red tape than Stripe or Paypal to accept credit/debit card payments for freelancers or businesses that dont have an LLC.

Thank you @Jay

We have Payoneer payment integration in plan. While we do not have an ETA for this at the moment, but we will update you as we soon as we can.

Regarding payments, we are currently internally testing ACH, SEPA with Stripe.

Our other priorities are Chat, Billing Tracker, Subscription Cancellation mechanism for your clients etc.

I see that we already have a request for Payoneer in our roadmap, I request you to update there if you haven’t. It will help us steer the direction we move forward.

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, Stripe is not available in many countries. For example, in Africa and South America, it is unusable unless you have a US or EU registered LLC plus a US or EU bank account, making it complex and difficult for most people in these markets. Payoneer, on the other hand, does not have these restrictions. You can accept card payments in all markets without needing a registered LLC, making it easier for small businesses or freelancers to start offering services

Yes, you are correct and we understand the situation.

We will try to bring Payoneer integration as soon as possible but have no ETA yet. We discussed this internally and will update you when we have news.

For now, we must focus on pending Stripe work, which has been in the pipeline for 5-7 months. Since it affects the order and payment system, which is fault intolerant, we delayed it to find a safe time for testing and release. Now we must proceed.

Thank you for your patience and trust in Agency Handy.

I’ll also add that apart from Payoneer, you could consider Lemon Squeezy as a payment option also. Another idea is for freelancers or small businesses without a payment provider—maybe your business could manage receiving our client payments for us for a fee, for example 2-3% on every payment? This could generate extra revenue for your business while helping freelancers or small businesses that can’t access Stripe for payments.

That’s a wonderful suggestion!

You’d be happy to hear that we have started analyzing the requirements on the legal and documentation parts for various platforms including Lemon Squeezy.

While we don’t have an ETA at the moment, we hope to share update soon.
