Hi Guys, I noticed someone requested enhancements to the current proposal features on Agency Handy a year ago, but it seems to have been overlooked, so I’ll add my suggestions here.
The current proposal section on AH is limited and constrained by the default fields and attachments. It’s basically not customizable. I recommend changing it to a full online text editor with drag-and-drop blocks, allowing us to customize proposals to fit our brand and create longer proposals within your tool. While attachments are available, it doubles the work to create a proposal elsewhere and then upload it to AH as a PDF plus we cannot edit it after.
Why not give us the ability to build custom proposals directly on your platform? I suggest taking inspiration from tools with customizable proposal features like: https://www.pandadoc.com/proposal-software/ and https://www.proposify.com/
My main recommendations for adding a full text editor would be to add these blocks and features:
- Logo Block
- Title Block
- Description Block
- Section divider & page break Block
- E-signature Block
- Dynamic fields you already have in the proposal (Client name, service, package, pricing, delivery time, terms and conditions, etc.)
Finally, I recommend allowing us to create and save proposal templates so we can reuse them for other clients. For example, a website development proposal could be reused by keeping most sections and information the same, only changing the client name and services.
